Its been awhile since I last posted, today was a beautiful day! I love this kind of weather!!! I am looking forward to the kids getting back into a "normal routine" of the school day life next week... just seems like this week we have been running alot to get dentist, physicals, etc all done before that time comes, need to pick up a few more last minute school items for the boys and they should be set to go, only draw back is I wished we could of been in the house before the 1st day of school but its ok... life goes on!
So yesterday was Blade's first offical dentist chair visit... he did well!!! He was SO cute walking into the room behind his godmother since she works at the office we went to... so it was exciting for Blade and her both, and NO cavities for any of the boys so that is a nice relief too! So all the appointments went well and as we are leaving Blade just keeps talking about how he got his teeth cleaned and he wanted to tell his daddy all about it:) it was a priceless moment!! We ran and got some lunch and headed home. The older boys were off to play as soon as we got home and Blade and I stuck around the aptartment, he played while I got some laundry and cleaning done and put things away from our shopping trip, phone kept ringing off the wall... it was CRAZY... so I packed up Blade and we ran up to the house to meet up with the plumber and one of the contractors... all is good... just needed some questions answered. Afternoon was here and gone and felt like I got little accomplished.

So for today, this am was an orthodonist consultation for Issac... he is going to need some othro work done after some more baby teeth fall out and has more permanent teeth in. We then were off to Sherwinn Williams to look at more paint colors on a bigger scale and narrowed down two more bedrooms... so have Mitchel's colors to "repick" and the bathroom color to work on yet as well as the upstairs hallway... LOTS to decide before Monday, I've been more "picky' about this than I've ever been on any project... I just want it to feel right as well as unique:) so yes... going for the extreme looks.
I also recieved a call before we left for Dbq this am, to help at Cranberry Hollow this afternoon (this is the NEW store that is renting my old spot) so we were in a rush to get back by 1:30 so I could work for the afternoon, I must say... I TRUELY enjoyed it!!! I was so happy she called and asked me to help her out in her pinch, it felt good to be back doing that kind of thing again, I DO miss it but I know this is where I need to be in my life right now, and I can enjoy days by helping when its needed. Did it feel strange? Yes and No... I was happy to be there, and seeing faces again and was familiar with the task... but it was a little strange having it be Cranberry Hollow... but I am SO SO happy for Tammy and glad it is working out well, she did a remarkable job adding lights and other little perks :) its my favorite store now well besides the GAP :) Yes I had to throw that in there...
So after I was done at the store, I rushed home to get Mitchel ready for soccer since tonight was soccer pictures... which I "forgot" about... he was panicing on the phone because his shirt was "lost"... but it was right where I said it was... Boys will be boys... then I was off to the house to make more paint COLOR decisions while I had "natural light" shining in windows. Issac's room is going to look nice... going all gray tone with a red stripe... pretty much decided! Completely changing Mitchel's colors again... too light! and will decide on hallway, bath, and our room when there is daylight tomorrow.
I have to get this done! As I was up there Dustin (our main interior contractor) pointed out to me that Mitchel's plaster is "falling off"... something was not mixed right in the plaster... like no glue or something... so for longevity its not going to last, and he pointed out how poorly the plaster around the trim was done... which I knew but didn't realize how BAD it was until it dried more... so hopefully it can all be fixed and a price can be adjusted... one more PROBLEM to add to our house
list:( As well as when the doors were carried upstairs to the attic... they were stacked on top of each other and now has dings and scratches in them... SAD about that:( but I guess its more character...
Also news for the house, the quote on the recent tiling guy we had came back a little high... so Jer called another guy in Dbq. and he came out to meet him today, so now we just wait to see what that comes back to be... but sounds like he can start right away after we confirm on the bid.
Also wonderful news for the day was... our carpet area rugs are done and we can pick them up :) YEAH!!!
And tonight Jason and Jer went to pick up our new bed we ordered... that was exciting! Thankfully they left it in the boxes for us so we could store it in the garage until its time to set it up... BOY I can't wait until that day comes!!! Now I just want to find a nice antique wardrobe and maybe a little dresser for our room, but want to get the bed in the room first to see how much room its going to take up. Thank you Ja for going with Jer to get it and for the use of your truck... "Blade likes Jason" he said that tonight when we were going to subway, it was cute!!
I want to thank Abby and Diane for coming up to give me their input on the colors I was looking at and they HELPED guide me the right way:) friendships are priceless!!! Billy thanks for coming up and getting lights up and running for Dustin! it will help him a TON, thank you!

So that's it for today, sorry it was a boring blog... but better than nothing I gues... also I wanted to send a message to my dear friend, Mel... my sincere condolences go out to your and your families at this time, thinking of you all!!!! Call me if you need anything! Your blog was so touching and peaceful... you made me cry! Hope to see you soon!!!!
