Well here we are... Saturday in Mexico... trip is going really fast now.
Getting excited the wedding is at 6:00, and its only a few hours away now as I am typing.
Alot has happened since we got here. I finally started feeling better on Thursday... did some shopping in town, that was FUN!! so I got a few things for our loved ones at home, when we got back from town we hit the waves in the ocean... how fun!!!! I loved it! Nothing like a little "wave pool", we hit the pool as well on Thursday, just fun on the beach relaxing and having a good time. Later on in the evening... we skipped the show that night and "bellied up to the bar" ... my husband is turning into an "alchi" out here... just kidding but he is having a good time, I believe he drank more than I did, so when the show was over we hit the "disco" (its a dj... and dancing) quite interesting since the "dancers" from the resort come and dance too... but anyhow they hold contest all the time here at the resort, and this evening it was a "drinking contest", a group from U.S.A vs. the resort dancers... we did ok... I was nominated to be a part of the team... goal was to chug a beer... Jason got pretty darn close as well as Chris... well they all did, so I am up... I was nervous about doing it since I didn't feel good the day before and the fact that the other team was kickin our asses... but here I went and believe it or not I WON my round... anyhow more dancing and then the night was over by 1ish... the sun takes a lot out of you.

So now for FRIDAY... well we went on the COBA tour, and it was Myan Village... very COOL!!! At first it was like hiking for an hour... in like 100+ degree weather... that part officially SUCKED!!!! so hot and humid, it reminded me of the "World Youth Day" trip I took when I just got out of high school, but then after the hike thing... we went to eat at a true Myan restraunt, the food was rather interesting... so I stuck to the rice and ate a little chicken. Jer had a beer with his lunch believe it or not... (he doesn't like beer) but he had a glass and drank it all, his brother Kevin would be proud :) that is what Jer said, but hell I was proud!!!

Anyhow after lunch we got to go tour the Myan village, it was the most incredible thing ever... makes you realize what you have and how lucky we are to have it but to them its their way of life and they know nothing else. The kids were so CUTE and so polite! I wanted to hold one of the babies but another lady beat me to it... so I just admired her:) At that point I really started to miss my boys... since we were seeing many boys that reminded me of my own... just typical boys getting dirty and being curious. We toured their homes and saw their way of living, it was just touching! If I would of known we were doing that I would of brought clothing for some of the little boys here as well as some other goods.

After the Myan Village... we headed for a cave that had a "underground swimming facility" in it... it was amazing!!!! the water was a little cold at first but it was so refreshing since we sweated our asses off most of the day. It was amazing!! After the tour, we got back to the resort and just hung out being lazy I guess you would classify that as... we had supper and went to the show, it was a HOOT... Chris Casey was part of the show tonight... Jer video'd it. As we were watching the show Jer so kindly went to get us some drinks from the bar... well he was coming back and thought he had just stubbed his toe on a BIG wicker chair, well turns out he broke his toe:( but today he is fine, just really careful what he does... not much you can do for a broken toe, right?

So here we are on SATURDAY all we did today so far was just a CHILLIN' at the beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! enjoying the sun and beach and the beautiful view of the ocean!!!! The exciting event is going to happen at 6pm today... THE WEDDING Of Marty Casey and Kris Hain :) So excited for both of them. Its just so inspiring, so much that now Jer agrees we are going to renew our vows for our 10 year somewhere... not sure where yet but somewhere, nothing big just somewhere with our family and friends... somewhere where my parents will actually have to travel too :)

So anyhow I am looking forward to tonight... Jason is giving a toast to the bride and groom and he's been working on it most of the afternoon so this will be FUN! A wedding on a beach is just so cool... we watched one the other day but it was a "renewal of vows of 25 years" but just the formality of it was very COOL!

So HASTA LA VISTA ... something to think about... when you think you have it bad... you don't! enjoy life and live it to the fullest!!!

I miss my BOYS so if they are reading this... I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!! MISS YOU TONS!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you are having fun with Uncle Kevin and Aunt Lisa, and Grandpa and Grandma, but we do get you back when we get home :)

Other things I miss... my DIET PEPSI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and cell service... but other than that life is good.

Enjoy your weekend ~
